Job summary

Mighty Auto Parts is hiring for a driver/warehouse role based in North Carolina. You will load and unload parts, operate a Box Truck, deliver to customer sites, and keep precise delivery records. This position emphasizes safety, professional communication, and adherence to company policies.

You will participate in training programs to advance your career while maintaining vehicle organization and meeting daily schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading vehicle parts such as batteries, motor oil and filters.
• Communicate in an honest and professional manner to customers and other Thomas associates.
• Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damaged products.
• Attend training classes provided by Thomas and parts supplier; learn new skills from customers and vendors.
• Work with Warehouse Manager on proper documentation of merchandise control.
• Maintain truck storage area in a neat and organized manner.
• Transport product to and from remote locations in a Box Truck.
• Load and unload product efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries/pickups, including appropriate signatures.
• Properly secure loads and assure loads are within requirements.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and report problems or defects.
• Complies with Thomas Quality Control Program, Thomas Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle including appearance and onboard equipment.
• Adheres to working schedule and utilizes time clock per Thomas guidelines.
• Understands and upholds the Thomas mission statement.
• Adheres specifically to all corporate policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Maintains highest levels of grooming, hygiene, and acceptable uniform appearance.
• Stays abreast of the Thomas’s products and services; recognizes opportunities to recommend Thomas products and services.
• Acts in a professional manner with all customers, co-workers and supervisors.
• Performs other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
