Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers. You’ll pick up returns, distribute sales flyers, and collect credit accounts while promoting loyalty programs.

You will build strong relationships with Pro customers and upsell when appropriate. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record; English proficiency is required, Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
