Job summary

Buerkle Honda in White Bear Lake, MN is seeking a full-time Counterperson for our Honda Parts department. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, provide top customer service, and have 1 year CDK experience plus 1 year as a parts counterperson.

A valid driver's license and ability to work Saturdays are required. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, with benefits including 401k, medical/dental/vision insurance, life and disability coverage, paid vacation and holidays, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• 1 year CDK experience plus 1 year parts counterperson experience.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Able to work Saturdays.
• General knowledge of inventory systems and vehicle systems & components.

Responsibilities

• Track incoming and outgoing parts inventory for the dealership.
• Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to pre-arranged systems.
• Receive and fill telephone orders for parts customers.
• Fill customer orders from stock or locate & order available parts when the dealership is out of stock.
• Package & ship parts to customers or back to the manufacturer and complete the appropriate recordkeeping.
• Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.
• Refer to parts manuals to determine exact parts for make/model/year.

Counterperson

• Ideal candidates for this position are team orientated with a focus on providing their customers with the best possible service 100% of the time.
• Candidates must be self motivated and enjoy working independently and with a team.
• Looking for applicants who have 1 year CDK experience plus 1 year parts counterperson experience.
• General knowledge of inventory systems and vehicle systems & components is required.
• Able to work Saturdays

Job Duties include

• Track incoming and outgoing parts inventory for the dealership.
