Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with staff and customers professionally and friendly.
• Discuss customer parts status effectively.
• Read and understand the parts catalog for lookup.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and information.
• Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing.
• Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Maintain weekly stock checks for accuracy.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock items or urgent needs.
• Locate out-of-stock parts externally and submit emergency orders if needed.
• Ensure parts requests are billed on service repair orders.
• Handle payments or credit authorizations from retail customers.
• Arrange orders for shipment, delivery, or pickup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Auto parts sales experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to perform calculations like discounts and percentages.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background check.
