Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
- Communicate with staff and customers professionally and friendly.
- Discuss customer parts status effectively.
- Read and understand the parts catalog for lookup.
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and information.
- Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing.
- Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
- Pull and fill orders from stock.
- Maintain weekly stock checks for accuracy.
- Notify parts manager of out-of-stock items or urgent needs.
- Locate out-of-stock parts externally and submit emergency orders if needed.
- Ensure parts requests are billed on service repair orders.
- Handle payments or credit authorizations from retail customers.
- Arrange orders for shipment, delivery, or pickup.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Auto parts sales experience preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
- Ability to perform calculations like discounts and percentages.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background check.
