Job summary

Sanderson Ford, Inc. seeks a Shop Counter Parts Counterperson to deliver customer service and drive retail sales at our service counters within the parts department.

You will assist customers, manage stock, and help with inventory and shelf replenishment. Responsibilities include overseeing the sales process, locating parts not in stock with the parts manager, processing special order requests, and maintaining professional communication with customers and staff while adhering to safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in service department
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Experience with auto parts sales preferred
• Analytical and communication skills
• Strong reading, computer and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with professional appearance and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
• Complete special order part request for the customer
• Communicate with customer on parts status
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
