Ed Martin Automotive Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Parts Counterperson to be the primary contact for customers in the Parts Department. The role requires strong communication and a friendly, patient approach to retail service.

Ideal candidates have some experience in a retail, customer-facing environment, and familiarity with dealership parts operations is a plus. You will handle orders, inventory, pricing, and coordination with service and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a retail, customer-facing role is preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership parts operations is a plus.
• Strong communication and patience are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing all parts orders.
• Understand and control parts inventory.
• Create bin locations for new stock.
• Notify customers on parts arrival.
• Notify of shortage and damage discrepancies.
• Process accessories and shelving them.
• Prepare items for returns and shipping.
• Separate orders for each dealership.
• Deliver parts to a second location.
• Keep parts area neat and orderly.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to federal, state and local regulations.
