Parts Counter Associate

We are seeking talented, energetic, and motivated individuals with the ambition to join our team. A Can-Do attitude is essential. Experience is not required but is a plus. Whether you are new to the industry or have years of automotive experience, we are looking for individuals to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist all customers (retail & shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
2. Inform customers of part requirements and specials.
3. Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and other information.
4. Pull and fill orders from stock.
5. Notify the manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention.
6. Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary.
7. Notify all relevant parties when special ordered parts are received.
8. Follow up on back-ordered parts and replenish assigned inventory daily.
9. Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
10. Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
11. Ensure all charge sales are signed by the customer and that customers receive a copy of their invoice.
12. Provide excellent communication and customer service skills.
13. Maintain a professional image and demeanor.
14. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
15. Strong computer and phone skills.
16. Maintain a positive attitude.
17. Close out daily cash register and consolidate credit card invoices at the end of each day.

Qualifications:

1. Parts experience preferred.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Team player.
5. Maintain an organized, orderly, and clean work environment.
6. Must pass a background check and drug test.
7. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Schedule/Hours:

1. Based on a 5-day rotating weekly schedule.
2. M-F (8am-5pm/8:30am-5:30pm/9am-6pm).
3. Saturday schedule (7am-4pm/8am-5pm/9am-6pm).
