ASCO Equipment has a career opportunity for a Parts Counter Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Parts Counter Specialist will be responsible for assisting both customers and in-house service technicians with their parts needs.

The role involves coordinating the logistics of ordering and tracking parts, managing inventory, and ensuring minimal equipment downtime for repairs and preventative maintenance. The Parts Counter Specialist will provide superior service to customers both over the phone and in person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide excellent customer service with friendly greetings and eagerness to assist
  • Ask questions to accurately identify machine make, model, and serial numbers
  • Investigate part needs and determine additional parts required
  • Fulfill parts orders from in-stock inventory and place orders as needed to meet customer demands in a timely manner
  • Match orders accurately with packing slips
  • Collect customer payment information or POs and follow up on past due accounts
  • Use resources such as online manuals and microfiche to correctly identify parts
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory records
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of experience as a parts specialist preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and teamwork skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Proficient in computer skills, including G-Suite and parts management programs
  • Commitment to work safety and accountability
