Job summary

Loveland Ford Lincoln is seeking a parts sales associate to manage the complete parts sales process and maintain stock levels. You will communicate with customers on parts status and with staff to ensure smooth service delivery, reading catalogs to locate parts and handling phone inquiries with quotes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, some auto parts sales experience, and strong organizational skills. A fast-paced environment with a professional team and great benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with auto parts sales preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with customer on parts status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Review body shop estimates to ensure parts ordered match the estimate and pricing.
• Provide high level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or urgent materials.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and place emergency orders when needed.
• Ensure internal part requests on service repair orders are billed.
• Receive payments from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup
