ASCO Equipment has a career opportunity for a Parts Counter Specialist in Euless, TX. The Parts Counter Specialist will be responsible for assisting both customers and in-house service technicians in fulfilling their parts needs.

The Parts Counter Specialist will coordinate the logistics of ordering and tracking parts, manage inventory with the goal of minimizing equipment downtime for repairs and maintenance, and provide superior service over the phone and in person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide excellent customer service with warm greetings and eagerness to assist
  • Ask questions to accurately identify machine make, model, and serial numbers
  • Investigate parts needs and determine additional parts required
  • Fulfill parts orders from stock and place orders as needed to meet customer timelines
  • Match orders with packing slips accurately
  • Collect customer payment information and POs; follow up on past due accounts
  • Use resources (online manuals, microfiche) to identify parts correctly
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of experience as a parts specialist preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership
  • Detail-oriented with good time management and teamwork skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer skills, including G-Suite and parts programs
  • Dedicated to work safety and accountability
  • Spanish speaking skills preferred
