Qualifications

• 4–6 years of combined work experience in a retail parts counter sales and/or warehouse environment.
• Good technical knowledge of Caterpillar and allied heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend computer-based schematics, specifications, safety manuals, and parts literature.
• Proficient verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.
• Ability to perform duties with urgency and to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions related to parts order management: receiving, posting, shelving, picking, and shipping.
• Prepare quotes for parts and service, determine availability, and process orders/returns/exchanges.
• Inspect and process customer core returns for credit per guidelines.
• Deliver parts to field technicians and run department errands as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper personal appearance; use forklift and pallet jack as required.
