Job summary

SPI Organization in Big Spring, Texas, is seeking a Parts Clerk to support the parts department. You will help customers, supply technicians with parts, and assist in inventory and merchandising tasks at an on-site facility.

The role requires basic data entry, knowledge of parts, and ability to lift up to 75lbs. Forklift experience is preferred. John Deere is the affiliate sponsor for this posting.

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follows-up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
• Assists co-workers with answering phone calls and on-call hours
• Assist with annual physical inventory for all parts departments in SPI organization
• Assist in transporting parts, small equipment, supplies and paperwork between SPI locations
• Facilitates and promotes a culture of safety
