Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Basic data entry/keyboard skills.
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
• Clear and polite communication on the phone with customers.
• Ability to use John Deere Parts Catalog.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing machine down and stock orders.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in the parts department.
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues with the manager.
• Assists with answering phone calls and on-call hours.
• Assists in annual physical inventory for all parts departments in SPI organization.
• Transports parts, small equipment, supplies and paperwork between SPI locations.
• Promotes a culture of safety.
