Quality Equipment, LLC, a John Deere dealer, seeks a Parts Counter Sales specialist for our New Bern store. The role focuses on selling parts, supporting technicians, and maintaining showroom presentation to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic data entry/keyboard skills.
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
• Ability to use the John Deere Parts related computer application.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
• Forklift operation (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts and assists Service Writer as applicable.
• Assists with showroom displays and merchandise.
• Verifies receipting of parts shipments and assists with machine down and stock orders.
• Assists in pulling/shipping parts and transfers between branches.
• Keeps the parts department, showroom, and parts warehouse clean and orderly.
• Reports shortages to the Parts Manager and follows up.
• Maintains departmental tools and equipment.
• Provides afterhours parts phone service when necessary.
• Performs other duties as required for location functionality.
