Packer City International - Green Bay is seeking a friendly Parts Counter team member to assist customers, learn the parts catalog, and support shop technicians in a fast-paced automotive environment.

No prior experience is required, but organization and attention to detail are essential. You will receive on-the-job training, with forklift certification offered after employment, and benefits including medical, 401k, and paid time off.

• Answer phone calls and assist walk-in customers and shop technicians.

• Support with loading/unloading trucks as needed.
• Keep overstock areas stocked and organized.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and wait on walk in customers and assist shop technicians
• Learn the parts catalog
• Complete all necessary parts training
• Assist with processing and filling the salesman'sorders
• Assist with set up and tear down of parts displays
• Assist with shipments as they arrive
• Stock the product once it is processed
• Stock shelves as needed from the overstocked area
• Keep shipping and receiving area clean and organized.

Essential functions:

• Ability to lift up to 75# (10% of daily work)
• Ability stand and walk (95% of daily work)
• Incoming and outgoing parts and material processing
• Loading and unloading trucks - sometimes by hand
• Competency in basic computer functions.

Qualifications:

• Skills: Organization and attention to detail is a must.
• Experience: None required
• Licenses: Good driving record. CDL helpful, but not necessary
• Specialized training: Operation of forklift helpful, but not necessary. You will be required to obtain forklift certification once employed.
