Job summary

HOLT CAT in Weslaco, TX is seeking a Parts Sales Associate who will greet customers, process parts orders, and provide accurate, timely service. This onsite role focuses on building strong customer relations and supporting sales goals through phone, fax, email, and in-person transactions.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, at least two years of customer service experience, and the ability to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Sales of CAT parts to customers over the phone, via fax, e-mail or in person; serves as a point of contact for parts customers.
• Completes all parts transactions for internal/external customers in an accurate, timely and supportive manner.
• Participates in all sales programs sponsored by HOLT and the dealership manufacturer.
• Keeps product information systems current and updates new product information.
• Responds to after hours call outs on a rotating basis.
• Promotes PCC orders, usage, and current dealer promotions.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance; works safely and adheres to policies.

Essential Functions

• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
• Sales of CAT parts to customers over the phone, via fax, e-mail or in person; Serves as a point of contact for parts customers
• Completes all parts transactions for internal/external customers in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfaction
• Participates in all sales programs sponsored by HOLT and the dealership manufacturer that promote sales through incentives and meet or exceed specified objectives as measured by program administrators
• Ensures that product information systems are kept current and new product information is updated
• Assists customers by responding to after hour call outs needs by being available for after hour calls on a rotating basis
• Promotes PCC orders, usage, HOLT Hose Vans, and current dealer promotions
• Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
• Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties assigned

• Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.
