Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our industrial parts team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, processing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity is based on a Production Associate career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.

Job Duties

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Identify and recommend the correct parts using catalogs, schematics, and technical resources.
• Create sales orders, quotes, and invoices.
• Maintain and replenish inventory levels.
• Process returns, warranties, and exchanges.
• Keep the parts counter and storage areas organized.
• Work closely with service and purchasing teams to meet customer needs.
• Develop knowledge of hydraulic and industrial components.
• Build long-term customer relationships.
• Sell and support hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, hoses, fittings, bearings, seals, filters, regulators, and related industrial products.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
