Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Casper, Wyoming seeks a Parts Counter Salesperson to help customers identify parts, explain options, and close sales.

You will greet customers, recommend parts and accessories, process orders at the counter, maintain inventory, and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate, timely service. A valid driver's license and knowledge of automotive parts are preferred, with warehouse experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sales experience, preferably in semi truck parts or an industrial industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and equipment.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in identifying their parts needs.
• Recommend and sell parts and accessories to meet customers' requirements.
• Provide accurate product information and technical advice.
• Process customer orders and handle transactions at the counter.
• Maintain inventory and ensure availability of parts.
• Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing parts in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to meet customer needs.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
• Deliver and pick up parts in/out of town.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
• Promptly and accurately complete all paperwork and handle tax certificates.

As a Parts Counter Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right parts for their vehicles or equipment, providing excellent customer service, and generating sales. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting the growth of our business.

Hourly rate range - $20-$26 depending on experience

Responsibilities:
