Job summary

Rihm Family Companies in Superior, WI is looking for an Experienced Parts Counter Representative to help customers over the counter, by phone, email or in person, delivering superior service.

You will assist internal and external customers in obtaining required parts, provide price quotes, and grow accounts while up-selling related parts. Strong truck parts knowledge and dependable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 12 months plus truck parts experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assists internal and external customers in obtaining required parts in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provides accurate and timely price quotes and other parts-related information to customers.
• Makes outbound sales calls and develops/grows assigned accounts.
• Upsells customers with related parts and processes returns as needed.
• Coordinates and processes orders for shipment, delivery or pickup.

Position Summary

Sells industry related parts over the counter, phone, email or in person while providing superior customer service to all customers

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Assists internal and external customers in obtaining required parts in a friendly, professional manner.
• Providing accurate and timely price quotes and other parts-related information to customers.
• Makes outbound sales calls as required.
• Responsible for developing and growing accounts as assigned.
• Up-sells customers with related parts.
• Issues credit for returned goods.
• Makes informed decisions regarding credit assuring to comply with credit guidelines provided by company.
• Pulls orders for customers and helps load parts into vehicles.

Inventory responsibility to include cycle counts, out-of-stock notifications to management, out-of-stock materials locating and ordering when needed, assigned out-of-stock replenishments, back-ordered and will-call parts follow-up.

Maintains accurate records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special order parts.

Coordinates and processes orders for shipment, delivery or pick-up.

Participates in all training programs that are made available and keeps current on new products and product updates.

Reviews open-order reports and closes/voids invoices within 60 days.

Stays connected to other employees and customers through the use of email, voicemail as well as other forms of communication.

Inspects cores and processes monthly returns to vendors.

Demonstrate competency in parts learning system through participation in thee-learning product knowledge modules from PACCAR, Cummins and other parts knowledge systems.

Other duties to meet business needs.
