Job summary

TransChicago Truck Group is seeking a Parts Counter Rep to sell commercial vehicle parts over the counter, through the shop, or by phone. You will set up daily orders for shipment or pickup and maintain orderly records of repair orders and invoices.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1+ year of automotive or truck parts experience. Eligible benefits include medical, vision, dental, life/AD&D, disability, FSA, 401(k) with company match, PTO, paid holidays and more.

We are looking for a Parts Counter Rep who will sell commercial vehicle and equipment parts to customers over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair orders.
• Participate in all training programs that are made available.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
• Participate in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.

Required Experience & Education:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of automotive or truck parts experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $26-$35/hr. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications and education.
