Gabrielli Truck Sales Ltd. in Albany, NY, is seeking a Parts Counter Person to provide over-the-counter, shop and phone support, helping customers find the right parts and pricing information.

You will handle payments, quotes, and order processing, ensuring accurate invoices and high service levels. The role requires part experience and ability to work overtime in a warehouse environment, with a friendly, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with Auto or Truck Parts.
• Experience in a parts department or automotive supply environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures exposure to the full product line.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provides high level of service to customers.
• Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts that need immediate attention.
• Follows up on back-ordered parts.
• Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
• Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer.
• Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
• Participates in all training programs that are made available.
• Keeps current on new products and product updates.
• Be motivated, proactive, focused and well organized.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sells parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.

RESPONSIBILITIES
