Job summary

Transteck, Inc. is seeking an experienced Part Time Parts Counter person at Freightliner of Hagerstown. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 4 pm to 9 pm, with responsibilities including in person/phone/email/online sales and fast parts fulfillment.

The role emphasizes meeting sales goals, handling parts orders, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Training is provided to stay current with OEM changes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in person, by phone, email or online sales.
• Source parts to fulfill orders promptly.
• Meet sales and gross profit goals.
• Order parts following dealership procedures.
• Maintain special-order parts for service Dept.
• Resolve customer problems and provide excellent service.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Participate in OEM training to stay current with parts changes.
• Provide written quotes to customers as needed.
• Process core and warranty items per company guidelines.

Transteck has an immediate opening for an experienced Part Time Parts Counter person for our Freightliner of Hagerstown heavy truck dealership. Schedule is Monday-Friday 4 pm - 9 pm.

Description for Parts Counter:

• In person/phone/email/online sales
• Source parts as needed for speedy fulfillment
• Meet sales goals and gross profit goals
• Order parts according to dealership procedures
• Maintain special order parts for service department
• Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes
• Provide written quotes to customers as needed
• Process core/warranty according to company guidelines
