Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Collision Parts Coordinator in Texas to support the collision center, assisting estimators and technicians with accurate parts sourcing and distribution. You will help ensure timely availability of parts and proper billing linkage in the system.

The role emphasizes precise data entry, parts verification, and coordination with vendors to meet delivery timelines. A valid driver’s license and a strong emphasis on communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of previous parts experience.
• 10-Key and/or Alpha-Numeric data entry skills and ability to utilize a computer for parts entry and linking of parts numbers in the accounting system.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist collision center estimators with obtaining required parts for work in process vehicles.
• Distribute parts to body technicians to expedite workflow.
• Ensure parts are charged and linked to the collision management system for billing.

The Collision Parts Coordinator assists the collision technicians and estimators, to ensure the correct parts are sourced and distributed for vehicles under repair at the collision center.What are the day-to-day responsibilities?Assist the collision center estimators with acquiring the required and correct parts for the work in process vehiclesAssists in the distribution of parts to the body technician to expedite work flowEnsure that all parts are charged and linked to the collision management system (profit Net) for billing in the accounting systemResponsible for inspecting each part received for accuracy and damageResponsible for returning all unused parts within 30 days of receipt.
