Job summary

Bergstrom Chevrolet of Appleton is seeking a Parts Consultant to help guests identify and obtain the right parts for their vehicles, both in person and by phone. You will manage inventory, process transactions, and provide technical guidance on part compatibility and installation.

• Experience in automotive parts sales or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive parts and accessories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with attention to inventory and order processing.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in identifying the correct parts in-person or over the phone.
• Maintain an organized inventory and assist with restocking.
• Process transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
• Provide technical guidance on part installation and compatibility.
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Place orders for parts for in-progress vehicles and deliver to technicians.

Assist Automotive Technicians in placing orders for parts needed for in progress vehicles, and deliver parts upon arrival to the technicians.Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pmAverage earnings of $40,000-60,000/year made up of a monthly base salary + a monthly parts department performance bonus.What We're Looking ForExperience: Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts and accessories. Familiarity with various automotive makes and models.Guest Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
