Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company’s Deer Valley Resort is hiring a Parts Clerk to manage inventory, receive and store parts, and support warehousing for multiple departments. The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, handling parts, and maintaining accurate records in our inventory system.

Starting wage is $20 per hour, with 401k, health benefits, ski privileges, subsidized meals, and staff discounts. Year-round, full-time position with opportunities across Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Lodging

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 at time of hire.
• Able to lift, carry, or move up to 70 lbs.
• Well organized and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Must be able to travel through snow to reach equipment with tools and materials.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to pass a DOT medical test.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory system.
• Issue parts and materials to technicians with proper documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder parts to maintain inventory.
• Work with vendors to source parts, verify deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.
• Label, organize, and maintain the cleanliness of the parts storage area.
• Assist with resort recycling efforts.
• Assist with tracking warranties, returns, and core exchanges.
• Other duties as assigned.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Parts Clerk is responsible for tracking, reordering, and general maintenance of the fleet, building, and electrical parts inventories as well as assisting with the warehousing functions for other departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts, tools, and supplies
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory system
• Issue parts and materials to technicians as requested, ensuring proper documentation
• Monitor stock levels and reorder parts to maintain optimal inventory
• Work with vendors to source parts, verify deliveries, and resolve discrepancies
• Label, organize, and maintain the cleanliness of the parts storage area
• Assisting with resort recycling efforts
• Assist with tracking warranties, returns, and core exchanges
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be age 21 at the time of hire
• Must be able to lift, carry, or move heavy loads up to 70lbs
• Well organized and able to work in moving environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
• Must be able to travel through snow to reach a building or piece of equipment with tools and materials necessary to complete tasks assigned
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record,and be able to pass a DOT medical test
