Job summary

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac in Ballwin, MO is seeking a Parts Clerk to handle shipping and receiving in the dealership's Parts Department. This role involves receiving, stocking, sorting, and delivering automotive parts, with attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualified candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 21, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Union position with weekly pay at $17 per hour, Monday through Friday 8:15 am to 5 pm.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Prior parts or warehousing experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack auto parts from ground and air mail.
• Assist technicians with ordering, returning and retrieving parts.
• Sort and stock received parts.
• Take routine inventory and audit stocked items.
• Record product and order details on forms and records.
• Prepare shipping and receiving paperwork for multiple items.
• File copies of orders and post records.
• Seal containers and label products as needed.
• Answer phones and take messages.
