Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is hiring a full-time Parts Clerk in South Bend, IN. You will maintain parts inventory, assist mechanics, and manage stock movements while complying with safety and quality standards.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, valid driver\'s license, and a high school diploma. You will operate forklifts and drive to airport gates for COMAT/AOG duties, with a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old or older.
• Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver\'s license.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Keep parts inventory on hand to support mechanics.
• Perform warehouse/stockroom inventory cycle counts.
• Use internal computer program to issue, return, and process parts/tooling from stock.
• Drive company vehicle to airport gates for COMAT/AOG and road trips.
• Verify, pull, and prepare shipments/receipts.
• Data entry including emails and inventory counts; create requisitions.
• Operate forklift to load and unload shipments.
• Maintain organization of warehouse/stockrooms.
• Work as a team and be self-motivated; able to work without supervision.

Primary Job Duties

As a Parts Clerk, you will be responsible for keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics.

• Warehouse/Stockroom Inventory Cycle Counts


• Utilize internal computer program to issue, return, process parts/tooling from stock


• Drive company vehicle to airport gates for COMAT/AOG and road trips


• Verify, pull, and prepare shipments/receipts


• Data entry including but not limited to emails, inventory counts, creating requisitions


• Operate forklift to load and unload shipments


• Sweep, mop, and keep up with the organization of the warehouse/stockrooms


• Knowledge of airline parts preferred but not necessary


• Team player - work well with others


• Self-motivated - be able to work without supervision


• Detail oriented / quick learner

• Other responsibilities assigned by the manager

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old or older

Physical And Other Requirements

• Able to lift 75 pounds routinely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
