Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking a Parts Clerk to maintain inventory and support mechanics in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

You will handle cycle counts, issue and process parts, and assist with shipments. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and basic computer skills; forklift experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard warehouse hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Keep parts inventory on hand to support mechanics.
• Perform warehouse/stockroom inventory cycle counts.
• Utilize the internal computer program to issue, return, and process parts and tooling from stock.
• Drive a company vehicle to airport gates for COMAT/AOG deliveries and road trips
• Verify, pull, and prepare shipments and receipts.
• Data entry including emails, inventory counts, and creating requisitions.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload shipments.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain the organization of the warehouse and stockrooms.

Primary Job Duties

As a Parts Clerk, you will be responsible for keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics.

• Perform warehouse/stockroom inventory cycle counts
• Utilize the internal computer program to issue, return, and process parts and tooling from stock
• Drive a company vehicle to airport gates for COMAT/AOG deliveries and road trips
• Verify, pull, and prepare shipments and receipts
• Data entry including, but not limited to emails, inventory counts, and creating requisitions
• Operate a forklift to load and unload shipments

• Knowledge of airline parts is preferred but not required
• Team player who works well with others

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver's license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Pass a background check

Physical And Other Requirements

• Lift 75 pounds routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Be flexible; the schedule is subject to change
• Available to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• This is a full-time position, starting at $22.00 per hour
• This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
