Job summary

Talon Technical Services is seeking a Parts Clerk at Fort Irwin to ensure timely operations for GCSS-Army services, work orders, and requisitions. You will manage Shop Stock inventories, receive parts through approved systems, and issue parts to customers while maintaining accuracy across locations.

Ideal candidates will have forklift experience, MS Office proficiency, and two years in military/civilian warehouse roles. Expect a busy field environment with strict safety and procedural adherence.

Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable experience in military or civilian Warehouse/Parts supply.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment (up to 10K forklifts).
• Must understand and be able to use Technical Manuals and/or ETMs.
• Must be fluent and comfortable with the MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Requests, receives and verifies, issues, processes and stocks parts and supplies.
• Process and turns in recoverable/ repairable and excess parts.
• Performs various inventories.
• Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, pelletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment.
• Uses STAMIS GCSS-Army program or other approved automation systems.
• Operates various types of vehicles (Gator, Club Cars, and 5-ton commercial trucks).
• Open and close work orders to include schedule services, execute and print 5988E’s and required reports.
• Conducts reviews of safety stock.
• Dispatching Operations.
