Lexus of Bellevue, a dealership within O'Brien Auto Group, seeks a full-time, entry-level Parts Clerk for the Parts Department in Bellevue, WA. Job Details

Job Location: LOB - Bellevue, WA 98004, Position Type: Full Time, Lexus of Bellevue, a dealership part of the O'Brien Auto Group, is looking for a Full-Time Entry Level Parts Clerk individual for our Parts Department. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first. A successful candidate will maintain accurate parts inventory and assist the Parts department with routine audits, parts organization, and tracking as well as ship, deliver, and receive parts orders.

This position pays $20.00 per hour. All employees subject to eligibility requirements, we offer the following benefits:

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Establish and maintain good working relationship with wholesale and retail customers.
• Assist all customers promptly and professionally including retail and service. Communication must be clear and concise.
• Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, binning new parts and recording the location, conducting perpetual bin audits, and maintain special order bins.
• Assist in Physical Parts Inventory.
• Deliver parts to technicians or part recipient; pull orders for counter persons when necessary.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; all materials stored below the counter area.
• Immediately notify Parts Manager of damaged parts or shortages.
• Sweep floors, empty trash containers daily, and maintain a clean parts department.
• Maintain clean delivery vehicle. Drive cautiously and safely staying within the laws of the road.
• Organizes parts within the department by part number and bin location, and reconciles the information in the computer inventory system; updating locations as necessary to provide accurate locations and optimum space utilization.
• Labels all bin locations, as well as each part location in the inventory; updating labels as necessary as bin locations change.
• Manages warranty parts area by filing warranty parts and shipping and/or disposing of warranty parts as instructed by manufacturer.
• Picks parts to be returned to manufacturer on return orders, verifies condition of each part to be acceptable for return, ships all return parts and updates the bin location of the removal of each part.
• Picks cores to be returned and ships them according to factory guidelines.
• Performs daily bin counts and reports to the department manager any discrepancies in the inventory. The number of bin counts performed each day to be determined by the department manager.
• Stock shelves with incoming orders and supplies, notifying parts manager of damaged or missing parts.
• Performs daily housekeeping duties to insure overall cleanliness of department, including but not limited to; floors, garbage, counters and displays.
• Completes other miscellaneous tasks and/or errands relevant to the parts department operations as instructed by the department manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Work in cooperative, positive, & professional manner with all personnel in the company.
• Treat members of the public and customers in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner. Maintain professional demeanor while at work.
• Must conform to company policy regarding non-discrimination and harassment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.

• Working knowledge of computers

Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used

Computer, calculator, phone, adding machine, copy machine, pens/pencils, stapler, scissors, letter opener, and fax machine.

Chemicals

Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a frequent basis. Employee will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances. Employee will follow all safety directives at all times.

Physical Demands

Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; frequent twisting and turning of the trunk, reaching, handling of objects; lifting of 100lbs or less and carrying of 50lbs or less; occasional pushing, pulling, climbing, and balancing.
