Job summary

Barnes Aerospace is seeking an employee to support cleaning operations and equipment maintenance at our Warren, Michigan site. The role requires attention to quality policies and safety standards while performing duties linked to repair station compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, performing routine inspections, and following procedures in accordance with FAA and FAR 65 where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, sketches and blueprints.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform cleaning processes and operate related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct visual inspections before and after cleaning for defects or damage.
• Complete required work order documentation.
• Maintain good housekeeping and organizational practices.
• Comply with quality policy, safety rules, and environmental regulations.
• Adhere to FAA inspection procedures and FAR 65 when assigned to the Repair Station.
