Job summary

Field Fresh Foods is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Parts Clerk to manage inventory, order supplies, and support the maintenance team on-site. You will track stock, negotiate with vendors, and maintain accurate procurement records, with a preference for bilingual Spanish/English communication to liaise with staff and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years in inventory or purchasing roles, strong negotiation and organizational skills, and the ability to handle up to 50 lbs of parts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in inventory management, purchasing, or maintenance support.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills to optimize costs with vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills and accurate record-keeping.
• Experience with inventory management software, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace.
• Ability to anticipate maintenance team needs and resolve supply chain issues.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and move parts/equipment.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for tracking inventory levels, negotiating with vendors, and keeping accurate records of maintenance supplies. The ideal candidate has experience with inventory management, purchasing, and strong negotiation skills to optimize costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred to effectively communicate with maintenance staff and vendors.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring stock levels are accurate
• Order and receive parts, tools, and equipment as needed to support maintenance operations
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs and ensure timely deliveries
• Track and record inventory usage, deliveries, and reorders using inventory management systems
• Issue parts and tools to maintenance technicians, ensuring proper documentation
• Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Assist in organizing and labeling storage areas to improve efficiency and accessibility
• Work closely with the maintenance team to anticipate needs and minimize downtime
• Maintain detailed records of purchases, work orders, and maintenance logs
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support maintenance staff

What You Bring To The Table

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or maintenance support
• Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (Preferred)
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to maximize cost savings
• Organizational Skills: Ability to track, manage, and maintain inventory records with accuracy
• Technical Skills: Experience using inventory management software, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to anticipate maintenance team needs and resolve supply chain issues
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move parts and equipment as needed
