Job summary

VoltaGrid is hiring a Warehouse Parts I in Midland, TX to assist with daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The role supports higher-level staff and ensures smooth product flow through the facility.

No prior experience is required, though warehouse or logistics experience is a plus. You will lift up to 50 lbs, read packing slips, and maintain accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull loads (up to 50 lbs, depending on facility).
• Basic math and reading skills to read labels, packing slips, etc.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills; ability to follow instructions.
• Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders
• Unload trucks or containers, sort and move items to appropriate storage locations
• Store materials in designated shelves, racks, or bins using proper labeling and organization
• Pick, pack, wrap, and label orders to prepare for shipment
• Stage and load outgoing orders onto trucks or shipping vehicles
• Perform regular inventory counts (cycle counts) and report any discrepancies
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet jacks, hand trucks) under supervision
• Request materials for reorder points or requests
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Report damaged goods, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to supervisor

• May require working shifts, weekends, or overtime during peak periods
