Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Parts Assistant in Joliet, IL to support shop mechanics by supplying parts and handling customer requests. You will process orders, assist branches in locating parts, and keep the parts area organized and safe. A strong team environment with on-the-job training is offered.

The role requires a High School Diploma, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include health, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Customer service oriented and detail focused.
• Basic computer skills and office procedures.
• Experience in parts handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supply shop mechanics with required parts from inventory.
• Handle parts requests from customers and other branches (in person/phone).
• Assist other branches in locating parts using Case and Smart Equip program.
• Maintain organized parts displays and safe handling of inventory.
• Process purchase orders for parts for the group/customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift as needed.
