Don Ayres Honda in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Parts Assistant to support the parts and service teams. You will help with ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing parts, while keeping accurate inventory and serving customers across a large dealership campus.

This full-time, hourly position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, strong organizational skills, and a positive customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Positive attitude and customer service oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver''s license and good driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience with auto parts sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers parts to technicians and customers across the dealership campus.
• Keeps parts department areas properly stocked.
• Delivers parts to independent repair facilities and wholesale customers.
• Picks up parts and returns parts to local vendors.
• Assists at the parts counter: look up parts, bill parts, fill orders, and answer phones.
• Assists with inventory cycles and annual physical counts.
• Supports service by moving vehicles and delivering to other repair facilities as needed.
• Assists customers by providing rides when needed and maintaining clean, organized workspace.
• Crates cores for shipment and places stock in appropriate bins.
• Assists in stock order check-in and in the parts sales process from inquiry to invoicing.
