Parts Analyst is primarily responsible for managing inventory at the factory and dealer level, conducting consumption modeling for most McLanahan equipment, and assisting the factory and dealer in targeting their inventory to meet end-user needs as equipment ages.
**Essential Functions/Key Accountabilities**
- Follow directions provided by the Director of Parts & Service or designee.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
- Represent McLanahan Corporation positively internally and externally, adhering to core values.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, customers, and others professionally.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels at the factory and dealer to ensure availability for repair and service needs.
- Estimate the lifecycle of parts for various machines to determine parts needs based on machine sales and expected lifespan.
- Conduct regular audits of spare parts inventory at dealer and factory levels for data accuracy.
- Stay updated on new parts and equipment, recommending starting inventories to support new product sales.
- Assess spare part stock levels by analyzing usage trends and lead times.
- Coordinate with partners to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and materials.
- Update and maintain spare parts catalogs and material specifications for accuracy.
- Manage asset systems for tracking equipment and materials.
- Prepare reports on asset performance, material usage, and spare part consumption.
**Education/Qualifications/Experience**
- Degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 3-4 years experience in consumption modeling, planning, and maintenance systems in a Mineral, Aggregate, or Agricultural environment.
**Competencies/Knowledge/Attributes**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with maintenance planning tools (e.g., SAP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems like Epicor.
- Good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to listen, provide, and receive feedback.
- Customer service oriented.
- Self-motivated with the ability to plan and accomplish goals independently.

**Physical Requirements**
- Primarily office-based; sitting and standing for long periods.
- Ability to travel domestically.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for operating office equipment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
