Job description

EAM-Mosca Corp., Hazle Township PA, a dynamic market leader in the area of end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Portland, OR region.


EAM-Mosca is privately held and retains a unique, focused, entrepreneurial culture. The key to the ongoing success of the business is a system-based product portfolio featuring standard as well as custom engineered packaging machinery solutions and a superior consumable packaging product, complemented by quality technical service and readily available aftersales parts support.


EAM Mosca is seeking an experienced Service Parts Specialist to support our service techs in the field by maintaining Service inventory and fulfilling our parts orders.


Service Parts Specialist Responsibilities include:
  1. Maintaining proper parts inventory in all Service vans and One Service B kits by reconciling service consumption, replenishment, and backorders based on established Hi/ Low levels.
  2. Fulfilling parts orders on demand as the technician places parts orders for continued service repairs, warranty, and emergency work.
  3. Creating AS400 parts quotes at the request of Service technicians and/or Managers.
  4. Creating Return Authorization for any warranty-related parts orders, auditing inventory, finalizing any RA documentation, and regularly identifying any outstanding RA.
  5. Keeping track of all Service related backorders.
  6. Maintaining our internal service inventory of uniforms, tools, and electronic specialty tools; creating high/low limits; placing orders for new hires and service techs; and replacing Service techs.
  7. Maintaining and keeping new van part kits ready for new hires as we grow and add new territories.
  8. Annual Audit of all Service Part Locations: Work with techs and accounting to audit all Service Parts locations physically.
  9. Researching parts availability in multiple EAM locations, including Canada and Mexico, making any necessary arrangements to acquire these parts in the provided systems.

Skills Required:
  1. Able to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused, high-pressure environment.
  2. Able to organize and compartmentalize urgent tasks from routine tasks and ensure urgent work is driven to completion.
  3. Ability to work with multiple divisions within the organization and third-party shippers to complete an order process.
  4. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  5. History of working with ERP systems like AS400, SAP.
  6. Knowledge of Service Management organizations and parts systems.
  7. Understanding of basic principles of Supply chain management.
  8. Superb time management and detail orientation.
  9. Ability to keep company confidence.
  10. Understanding ERP systems SAP, AS400.
  11. Microsoft 360 suite, Teams, and SharePoint.
  12. Experience in field service organization.
  13. Associate’s degree or equivalent in lieu of experience.
