Columbus Technologies and Services, Inc. in Greenbelt, MD seeks a Parts Analysis Engineer to provide analytical services for the Parts Analysis Laboratory. You will perform incoming inspection and non-destructive testing, and generate technical test reports, contributing to reliability assessments.

The role requires a BS in a technical field and at least five years in a quality/reliability lab, with SEM and infrared microscopy experience. US citizenship is required, and W2 with full benefits.

Formación

• Must have BS in listed fields and 5+ years of post-graduate experience.
• Experience in a quality/reliability laboratory testing environment with SEM and infrared microscopy.
• Knowledge of NASA, ESA, Aerospace, DoD, and IPC standards and performance specifications.
• Experience evaluating metals, composites, metal alloys, and other electronics materials for analyses.
• Understanding of construction/manufacturing processes/techniques for EEEE parts.
• Well organized and able to multi-task within budgeted labor hours.
• Detail oriented with accurate recording in digital work order system and reports.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Incoming inspection of Electrical, Electronic, Electro-mechanical, Electro-optical (EEEE) components.
• Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) including X-Ray Fluorescence, Radiographic, SEM, Infrared microscopy.
• Root cause analysis, stress testing, environmental testing, electrical verification.
• Generation of technical test reports.
