Job summary

Valley Plains Equipment LLC in LaMoure, ND is seeking an Aftermarket Sales Manager to lead the location’s aftermarket business within Parts while supporting Service and maximizing profitability. You will coach the Parts team, develop the location’s Aftermarket Sales strategy, and collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure outstanding customer experiences and strong financial performance.

Qualifications

Must be able to foster teamwork and build positive relationships with peers.
Proficient with database software, online parts books, and Microsoft Office.
Willing to work extended hours and weekends as required.
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Provide clear direction and leadership, emphasizing excellent customer service skills among direct reports.
Lead by example, creating a professional customer experience in facilities and product presentation.
Execute aftermarket strategies to ensure satisfaction among internal and external customers.
Collaborate with the District Operations Manager/Area Product Support Manager and Service Manager to develop the location’s Aftermarket Sales strategy.
Drive all Aftermarket Sales strategies, focusing on selling Parts and Service solutions in line with revenue goals.
Partner with Service Manager to ensure consistent positive customer experiences within the Aftermarket segment.
Take accountability for the financial performance of the department, including achieving profitable sales growth, disciplined expense control, and targeted net return on sales.
Exhibit outstanding communication skills and collaborate with other departments and locations.
Work with peers to maintain proper on-hand parts inventory to meet customer demand while achieving inventory performance standards.
Oversee ongoing inventory processes to ensure proper inventory control.
Fulfill other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.
Conduct monthly cycle counts, ensure parts are being transferred in a timely manner, and manage inventory in cooperation with Parts Support Analysts.
