Job Overview

  1. Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  2. Inform customers of companion part requirements while ensuring the customer is exposed to the full product line.
  3. Answer incoming phone calls and counter inquiries, providing price quotes and other information as needed.
  4. Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
  5. Pull and fill orders from stock.
  6. Notify all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received.
  7. Pull orders and ensure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.
  8. Follow department policy and instructions on the special ordering of parts, plus S.O. aging.
  9. Follow up on back-ordered parts and replenish assigned inventory daily.
  10. Maintain a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork.
  11. Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
  12. Verify will-call and back-order files weekly and return to vendors, or stock those items not picked up or required.

Qualifications

  1. Excellent communication and customer service skills, and able to maintain a professional image and demeanor.
  2. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Strong computer & phone skills are required (Internet, MS Outlook).
  4. Proficient in CDK is a plus!
  5. Degree in automotive technology or military equivalent experience.
  6. Bi-lingual is always a plus!
  7. Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  8. Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  9. Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background and drug test).
