Kunes Auto Group in New Berlin, WI is hiring a Returns Clerk for our Parts Department. This full-time role supports our fast-paced team by checking in returned parts, verifying accuracy, and processing credits. You will inspect items, decide whether to return to inventory or to the manufacturer, maintain records, and assist drivers and customers.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with no nights or weekends. Kunes Auto Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Kunes Auto Group is hiring a Returns Clerk for our Parts Department to join our team.

This full-time position works Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM — consistent daytime hours, no nights or weekends.

In this role, you'll check in parts returned by our delivery drivers, confirm accuracy and condition, process returns back into inventory or to the manufacturer, and help issue correct return credits to customers.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Check in parts returns brought back by parts drivers and confirm accuracy and correct condition
• Inspect returned parts to verify they match order records and meet return standards
• Process approved returns back into inventory or prepare them to send back to GM
• Assist with writing accurate return credits to the original ordering customer
• Maintain organized, accurate records of all returns processed
• Follow all safety policies to maintain a secure work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts, returns, or warehouse operations is a plus, but training is provided for the right candidate
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• No warehouse equipment experience required — occasional pallet jack use only, training provided
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for accurate returns processing
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with inventory and customer credit records
