Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Parts Acquisition Specialist to pull service parts, document and process orders, and ensure accurate, timely delivery to dealers and homeowners. You will build product knowledge and collaborate across departments to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and deliver projects within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory controls in office and warehouse environments.
  • Take and log parts orders for dealers and homeowners.
  • Review parts orders with purchasing to ensure materials are available to pull.
  • Review orders to ensure quantities are correct and correct parts are pulled.
  • Package and ship parts to customers within 7 days.
  • Document and process orders for shipment.
  • Coordinate with dealer, homeowner, and transportation to ensure timely delivery.
  • File paperwork regularly.
  • Communicate positively with customers to set delivery expectations.
  • Follow up until the claim is resolved.
  • Create processes to improve customer experience as needed.

Parts Acquisition Specialist Job Profile: JP00351
Position Summary

The Parts Acquisition Specialist facilitates pulling required service parts and is expected to work with integrity, documenting and processing orders. The Parts Acquisition Specialist is also expected to develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of each part and effectively communicate requests.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Maintaining inventory controls in office and warehouse environments.
  • Taking and logging parts orders for dealers and homeowners.
  • Reviewing parts orders with purchasing to ensure materials are available to pull.
  • Reviewing orders to ensure that the quantities are correct in the systems and that the correct parts were pulled.
  • Packaging and shipping parts to customers within 7 days.
  • Documenting and processing orders for shipment.
  • Coordinating with dealer, homeowner, and transportation service to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Filing paperwork on a regular, if not daily basis.
  • Communicate positively and frequently with customers to set delivery expectations.
  • Following up internally and externally until claim is resolved.
  • Creating individual processes to improve our customers’ experience, as needed, and reevaluating individual processes from improved customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, associate degree or higher, preferred.
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and deliver projects within deadlines.
  • Able to communicate positively and clearly with peers, managers, and customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems preferred.
