Job summary

Smith Entertainment Group’s Utah-based internship supports the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth partnership sales and operations teams. This role offers exposure to meaningful projects and the chance to develop business acumen while communicating with stakeholders across multiple teams and handling large datasets.

Qualifications

• Hard-working, self-motivated and relationship-focused.
• Creative and assertive communication skills.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedule including events.
• Willing to provide own vehicle for transportation on event days.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening.
• Canva proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of Business Development Sales and Operations teams.
• Aid project organization, ideation, and deck creation for marketing and pitches.
• Identify and advance high-value leads and events; report progress to Business Development.
• Support marketing tasks such as driving interest in sales events and campaigns.
• Develop lead lists for corporate partners, season ticket members, and premium seating buyers.
• Assist in networking events, event planning and coordination, including golf tournaments.
• Support the department in all other tasks with a proactive attitude.
• Take ownership of assignments and deliver with detail and positivity.
• Contribute fresh energy and ideas; maintain a team-player mindset.
