Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager, Partnerships to advise clients on partnership tax issues, allocate income, and manage calculations related to TRA and other partnership items. The role drives process improvements, staff development, and client relationships within the Partnerships leadership team.

The position emphasizes development of strategic tax solutions, mentorship of associates, and collaboration with marketing and business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, required.
• Specialized partnership experience, required.
• Prior supervisory experience, required.
• Private equity experience, both fund and portfolio company levels, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and develops an in‑depth understanding of partnership taxation and related issues.
• Trains associates, senior associates, and managers in research and tax issues.
• Applies tax knowledge to develop efficient methods to maximize client benefits and reduce taxes.
• Leads development of tax strategies and communicates with clients on engagements.
• Supervises and mentors tax professionals and manages engagement teams.
