Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Partnership Taxation Sr. Associate - Asset Management/REIT to join our team in Philadelphia, PA, with additional approved locations across the Northeast.

You will perform compliance for complex tax returns and provide tax consulting to individuals, trusts, partnerships, and S corporations, collaborating with the Partnership Business team to optimize return preparation and tax savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• 2–6 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a mix of industry/public accounting.
• Proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, partnership, S corporation, individual and trust returns; REITs experience preferred.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses; proven tax strategy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple client service teams on engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects across industries.
• Supervise, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects; conduct performance reviews.
• Research and consult on tax matters; use tax software to prepare and process returns.
