BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior, Partnerships, to advise clients on partnership tax issues, conduct research, and develop computations. You will participate in marketing, business development, and team-building initiatives, while mentoring interns and staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
  • Two or more years of relevant tax experience required; specialized partnership experience preferred; private equity experience preferred.
  • CPA, Attorney or IRS Enrolled Agent preferred; other professional degrees or certifications applicable to the role preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with tax research databases and tax compliance software preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong analytical and research skills; teamwork; client relationship building; organizational skills; ability to multitask and manage deadlines; professional presence.

  • Manage client expectations and assist with implementation of applicable firm strategies.
  • Schedule and manage workloads of interns and associates; review work and provide comments.

Compensation

Individual salaries are determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and geography. Salary ranges: $73,500 - $131,250 (National, Maryland, NYC/Long Island/Westchester, Washington DC).
