Job summary

Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking a Manager - Partnership Tax (National Tax) to lead technical work across the firm’s national practice. You will serve as a technical resource to engagement teams and clients on federal partnership tax matters and help develop the partnership tax consulting practice within National Tax and across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field.
• CPA, JD, LLM (Taxation), or EA required; 5+ years in partnership tax.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Research federal income tax issues and strategies in partnership taxation and advise teams.
• Prepare technical memoranda, tax analyses, and other written work products.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, financings and other partnership-related transactions.
• Develop and deliver technical training, webinars and educational programs to share knowledge across the firm.
• Monitor regulatory, legislative and judicial developments affecting partnership taxation and communicate implications.
