Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a dynamic Tax Manager to join the Partnership Tax team in California. You will advise clients on partnership tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and allocations, while supporting M&A activities and capital account analysis.

You will lead staff, manage client expectations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and India. Ideal candidates have a CPA license, 7+ years in corporate federal tax and 5+ years in partnership taxation within

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field required.
CPA license in principal place of business/home state is required.
7+ years of corporate federal tax compliance and tax consulting experience related to planning, research and M&A.
5+ years in public accounting focusing on partnership taxation.
Experience with S-Corps or Partnerships/LLCs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
MS Excel and Word proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on a full range of partnership tax services including planning and compliance.
Assist with business development and tax issue recognition for clients.
Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members.
Manage partnership client needs for tax services and federal/state compliance.
Develop and sustain client relationships and keep updated on tax practices and changes.
Provide industry knowledge and work with U.S. and India teams.
