The Partnership Manager – North Central Florida is responsible for building and growing relationships with churches, local donors, employers, and other community partners throughout Better Together’s North Central Florida region. This includes Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Madison, Marion, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, and Union counties. This is a highly community-focused role that involves researching potential partners, prospecting and converting leads, conducting presentations, attending networking events, and following up with prospective partners. The Partnership Manager will work to create new partnerships that generate volunteers, donors, employers, and other resources that support Better Together’s mission. The role reports to the Regional Executive Director and works closely with the Strategic Partnership team.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, with an associate degree and bilingual skills preferred. Better Together is looking for someone with strong sales, prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable researching leads, making connections, presenting to groups, networking in the community, and tracking activity in a CRM. Candidates should also be comfortable learning or using Salesforce and Basecamp and demonstrate strong alignment with Better Together’s mission and core values. This position requires the candidate to live in North Central Florida and spend the majority of their time working in the community. A valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle are required. Candidates must also have flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, travel regularly throughout the region, and participate in a monthly on-call schedule.
