The University of the Virgin Islands seeks a Partnership Coordinator to support NSF-funded capacity-building projects, collaborate on research-related activities, and help implement the Territory Agricultural Plan (TAP). The role includes project management, stakeholder engagement, and building partnerships across higher education and private sectors.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience; a Master’s degree with two years is preferred.
The Partnership Coordinator plays a multifaceted organizing role across several projects including two NSF funded projects focused on capacity building for UVI in territory economic development via research collaborations, improving researcher collaborative activities via a profile/networking system being developed, and supporting UVI’s role in implementing capacity building for grants and partnerships through the Territory Agricultural Plan ( TAP ). All roles include project management and interfacing with UVI and community members, as well as developing and nurturing partnerships that enable successful completion of these objectives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field and Five (5) years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree in related field preferred and two (2) years of relevant experience

Physical Demands
Must be able to travel locally and occasionally to the mainland for meetings, conferences.
Must be self-motivated, take initiative.
Must have the ability to operate across disciplines and sectors (higher education and private sector)
Occasional extended work hours.
Work environment: The noise level in the work environment will be moderate.
